THE CALL:

Women were once the known Voices of the Otherworld. We have the innate ability to speak for the voiceless, for the Earth, heavens and that which exists beyond the veil. We are living in a time where the reemergence of our voices is needed more than ever. In this bold exploration of women's wisdom ways, as based on Shamanic practices of the Path of Pollen, we’ll once again drink from the sacred well of feminine mystery in order to reconnect, reinvigorate and reclaim our voices and call forth the unfolding story of a new more vibrant and sacred reality.

WHO THIS COURSE IS FOR:

This course is designed for women who wish to deepen their ability to see beyond the veil and more fully become the vessel through which to receive information from the Otherworld. Through indigenous European Shamanic practices (including those informed by the Lyceum - formerly known as the Path of Pollen) we’ll explore the unseen world and find ways to integrate this seeing into ritual, healing and everyday life, creating a new reference point of reality from which to build upon anew.

1st fold: May 7th-10th (Thursday 4pm - Sunday 4pm)

Murmuration:
A Celebration to Dream with Bees and Wake in the Hive (DATEs for 2020 TBA)

What happens when we trust the shared dream?
What might we hear when we seek to listen?
What movements rise from the explorations of our collective play?
Where do we land when we dare to take flight?

We are on the brink. The structures we find ourselves in are crumbling. It's time to take flight.
To trust our shared dreams . To seek a new Eden.

In this wildly celebratory exploration of anything-goes-ness, we’ll seek Shamanic practice, movement and ceremony to step out of the ordinary and into the place of the betwixt and between where anything is possible. As we hover in this liminal landscape, this place of radical hope, amid the times we find ourselves in, and the new eden we dream of, we free up the riches of a new reality through the unapologetic freedom of creative expression. Witness of unleashed individualism lights up the living constellation of community. And, as we wake more fully to all realms of possibility, we rise and dare to take flight within the murmuration of the collective dream.

OPEN TO ALL GENDERS. No experience necessary. New dates TBA.

Basket Weaving w/ Alexa Rivera
$120.00

Sunday, 7/16, 10:30am-6pm

Basket Weaving is a tradition as old as human history, and a craft that has been practiced by every ancient culture across the globe. People have made baskets from their barks, branches, vines, and grasses and used these baskets for harvesting and storing food, medicines, and tools. The study of baskets is the important study of vessel, of human, of geography, of utilitarian and spiritual connection with nature, and of intuition.

In this class we will weave an Adirondack Pack Basket, a beautiful basket which dates back to the 1800s and was born in the Adirondack Park. These baskets were traditionally made from hand-pounded black-ash and were used for carrying heavy loads for hunting, fishing, trapping and trekking in the mountains. We will use reed for our baskets, and everyone will leave with their own hand-woven Pack Basket. All materials will be included in the class, except for the straps.

Basket weaving is a way to connect with our ancestral lineage, it is an allowance to sit together and tell stories, to commit to making slow and honoring the process. Come join us for a day of weaving and leave with a beautiful basket to take home for your own use in garden, forest, farm, or mountain.

Snacks and tea will be provided, please bring your own lunch or a potluck dish to share. Please also bring a flat-head screw driver, scissors, and a pencil. Thanks so much and excited to weave with you!

Cost: $120

Mutual Awakening w/ Toni Monsey
from $25.00

Sunday, March 12, 1:00 - 3:00pm
The practice of Mutual Awakening offers a portal to the unique dimension of consciousness as discovered inside the liminal space – the space between two or more people.  What distinguishes mutual awakening from most other forms of spiritual and mindfulness practices is that you cannot do it alone.

During your experience of the Mutual Awakening Practice, you will sense a connection with something that is much bigger than yourself and know that you have opened a doorway to a new world of existence. You will no longer feel separate from the person you are with – no longer trying to meet across the chasm of space between you – you will know viscerally that you are inside reality together. Love and intimacy naturally arise and you will experience a kind of ‘being inside love’ that is evolutionary.  It’s a force that comes from the heart of the cosmos, bringing us together in shared-unity.

Come experience this unique, and heart opening, practice.  You will discover that a higher order of human relatedness and new possibilities of love are right at hand.

Farm to Canvas Plein Air Painting Workshop w/ Emilie Lee
$450.00

July 8, 9 & 10. 8 AM - 3 PM

In this workshop Emilie Lee (who grew up on the Farm and recently returned to Vermont!) will be teaching a traditional approach to landscape painting as it was taught to her by her mentors at the Hudson River Fellowship. She will be referencing the methods and techniques of 19th century landscape painters. Beginners and experienced painters alike are welcome, as Emilie will be tailoring instruction to meet each individual's goals and needs.

Topics that will be addressed include:

  • how to set yourself up for success given the specific challenges of painting outdoors (changing light, weather, and time limitations)
  • how to choose a compelling subject and composition
  • how to create an underpainting that will be a strong foundation for your work
  • using pencil sketches and written notes to aid in developing your work back in the studio
  • how to use color, atmosphere, and line quality to create a sense of depth
  • how to capture a fleeting moment in a tiny sketch and later develop that idea in the studio without using photographs
  • tips for staying comfortable and happy while working outdoors!

Cost:  Includes 3 chef catered lunches. Early bird special: $400 before May 1st.

Build an Earthen Oven: 5/28 , 9am -5pm
$180.00

Mud, earth, clay, soil – an awesome and versatile building material which can act as a thermal battery, holding heat. People have used this technology for thousands of years to bake bread and other staples. Today wood-fired earthen ovens are seen as an appropriate technology in an increasingly over-complicated world. They restore simplicity to the connection between toil and nourishment, hand and mouth. Come learn how an oven works, how to build it, and modify it for your needs. Building with mud is fun for everyone from young to old; from experienced builders to someone who has never built by hand before. So join us and get ready to get your hands dirty!

Course time: Saturday 5/28, 9am -5pm (ONLY ONE DAY with optional second day to finish the oven)

We will provide a vegetarian lunch (if you have dietary restrictions, please bring your own lunch).
